In 1999, Eastern Sources was founded under the management of Joseph Lau and Patrick Choy who possess more than 30 years of experience in the small appliances industry. They were in charge of our Hong Kong offices and China factory facilities respectively. In the same year, Eastern Sources successfully launched the first cool zone fryers and cast aluminum food slicers for household use into the American markets. They were very well received by consumers. Additionally, Eastern Sources also have the honour of being the first in the Asian region to produce table-top BBQ grills, and both the aforementioned full metal slicers and cool zone deep fryers.
In 2001, we managed to upgrade our in-house laboratory and obtain certification by Intertek Testing Services for performing witness testing in our China factory. In 2006, we received ISO-9001 certification from SGS for our design and manufacturing operations.
Today, Eastern Sources specializes in mid to high range motor-driven and thermal appliances with a loyal customer base encompassing Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. Our notable customers include, BSHG, DOMO, Gastroback, Magimix, Rotel, Rommelsbacher, SEB, Edgecraft, Canadian Tire, Sunbeam and many others.
